Wanted to share a tasty marinara sauce I came up with.
Large can peeled tomatoes
12 oz can tomato sauce
6 oz can tomato paste
(I use organic whenever I can)
Sauté some minced onion and minced garlic in EVOO.
While doing this I put the can of peeled tomatoes in my Nutra Bullet to basically liquefy (but not like water). After the onion and garlic are browned I add the ingredients above with a 12 oz. can of water. At this time I add the following seasonings (in my case generously):
4 packets of Nu naturals stevia
Parsley 2 tbsp
Oregano 2 tbsp
Pepper to taste
Nature's Seasoning 1 tbsp
Basil 1 tbsp
Stir the seasonings in and let simmer for about 45 minutes after bring to a low boil.
